Coyote, 2002

Raimondi was particularly inspired by the coyote depicted in many Native American tribal beliefs as God’s dog, imbued with many magical abilities including its ability to transform itself into any creature. In spite of two centuries of eradication efforts by governments, ranchers, and farmers, coyotes continue to thrive throughout North America—a testament to its legendary adaptability.

Boosted by structural steel beams, this sculpture is a magnificent monument towering 25 feet in height.
