George Luks has had numerous gallery and museum exhibitions, including at the Whitney Museum of American Art and at The Huntington Library, Art Collections & Botanical Gardens. Many works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'Lily Williams' sold at Sotheby's New York 'American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture ' in 2010 for $1,874,500. There have been numerous articles about George Luks, including 'Childhood, Then and Now' written by Benjamin Genocchio for New York Times in 2010. The artist died in 1933.
