Geronimo, 2007

Among the best known of all Native American Chiefs, Geronimo was a legendary Apache warrior of the Bedonkohe band driven by a desire for revenge for the murder of his family. Throughout the mid-to-late nineteenth century, he earned a fierce reputation in battle that surpassed any of his contemporaries. His tactical genius and courageous fighting ability extended over 30 years before he was captured and imprisoned toward the end of his life.

Boosted by structural steel beams, this sculpture will be a magnificent monument when realized in full scale, towering 54 feet in height. However, to date this sculpture has only been fabricated in smaller scale.
