Kit Newton

American, 1981 - Present

Kit Newton was born in 1981 in Boulder, Colorado. Throughout his youth, Newton lived abroad in south-east Asia, from Singapore to Malaysia, while pursuing a very successful athletic career in water-skiing. There he was accepted into the Malaysian National Water-ski Team in 1995. Subsequently, he was accepted into U.S. Junior Water-ski Team in 1997 where he continued his athletic achievements into 1999 earning many accolades and representing America in championships along the way. All the while, Newton studied art and painted under the guidance and tutelage of his close mentor and friend John Raimondi, eventually going on to study at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. He currently resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
