Native American Series - 2000's

In these eight sculptures, Raimondi’s artistic vision embraces and expresses the tension inherent in the theme. During his lengthy research into Native American history, he was particularly moved by the imagery and spiritual depth of their beliefs and the wisdom of many of their leaders. Through his elegant use of form, repetitive shapes, and sweeping lines, we experience the nobility and fragility as well as the bold courage and the tragedy of the Native American people.

Boosted by structural steel beams, these sculptures will be magnificent monuments when realized in full scale, each towering more than 50 feet tall. However, most of these sculptures to date have only been fabricated in a smaller scale.
