Christopher, 1971

Raimondi spent the summer of 1971 as an artist-in-residence at Haystack-Hinckley School in Maine, where he refined his welding skills and built Christopher for the school and as a teaching tool for the art students. The sculpture is named in honor of one of his favorite students he worked with over the summer.
