Thunderhead, 2003

This second in Raimondi’s Native American Series was inspired by the power of prayer expressed by Native American tribes, as they rejoiced and endured in their relationship with the great expanse and variety of their lands.

Boosted by structural steel beams, this sculpture will be a magnificent monument when realized in full scale, towering 72 feet in height. However, to date this sculpture has only been fabricated in smaller scale.
